Brother. Father. Leader. Servant. As men we carry a lot of titles, and most of us carry them with nobody asking how we're holding up. We need places where we can be honest enough to be challenged, and challenged enough to actually change. Most men's conversations never get further than "I'm good thanks, and you?"When godly men fade into the background, the image of Christ fades with them. We aren't only up against what the world says about us. We're wrestling with the powers behind it, an enemy who wants us ineffective, smothered, and silent."For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12That's why I mentor. My job is to help you step into the identity Jesus has already declared over you, and to keep you standing in it when the pressure comes.This is relational and intentional. And if you keep showing up, it grows and goes somewhere. A lot of us cannot speak to our pastor, our elders, or our friends, because of how we fear they will change towards us in our struggle. What changed my life was having one person outside of it all, who I could be brutally honest with, and who could give the same back. In that space, the Lord is with us, and we can actually forge something real."For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." Matthew 18:20

About

My name is Kai Cohan, I was saved by Jesus Christ from a long life of hedonism and paganism. I did not grow up in the church, I grew up in the world and spent my career chasing shadows in the entertainment industry. In the many years since coming to Christ I experienced a complete change in my heart, mind and spirit while going through extreme trials and circumstances. I have walked with the Lord in a life dedicated to ministry to which mentorship is an extension of. I hold a Bachelor in Literature (Leeds Trinity), a Masters in Theology (OBC), certified Pastoral Life Coach and Biblical Counsellor (CCEF)."The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life." 1 Timothy 1:15-16It is in redemption that Christ uses me for His glory, for I understand a life sinning against God, the snares laid by the enemy, and the strength it takes to beg for mercy before the King. I believe in the power of intentional, one-on-one mentorship and discipleship. For iron to sharpen iron it must be swung with true intention, real battle, real determination. We must hold a posture like Jacob and say to the Father "I will not let you go unless you bless me." (Gen 32:26)Men need honest brothers, not catch phrases. Sons for Glory exists to push men to be accountable in their callings, to lead and to challenge the enemy's claims against them. The world is out to rob us of our inheritance, so let us "be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong." (1 Cor 16:13)May the Lord shine his face upon you, don't hesitate to reach out for a consult to see if we are a good fit.

This is not a self-improvement program with a Bible verse on the cover. To grow as Christian men, we start where we have to start - Jesus Christ. Your identity in Him is the wellspring of everything. My mentoring at Sons for Glory is anchored there, because formation that doesn't begin with Christ isn't formation - it's vaneer renovation. As the Apostle Paul put it plainly, "No one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 3:11). When a man's foundation holds, the rest of his life - his relationships, his leadership, his work - can be built strong and true.

DON'T DRIFT

ALONE

Most men don't walk away from God overnight. They drift, and nobody notices, because nobody's asking.
I'm the one asking.When you work with me, you get a man in your corner who won't let you coast. You name what matters, whether that's your walk with God, your family, or the habit you keep meaning to deal with, and I'll ask about it again next week."Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another" (Proverbs 27:17), and iron only sharpens when it makes contact.This was never meant to stop with you. Paul charged Timothy, "What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also" (2 Timothy 2:2). Every man I mentor is learning to sit across the table from another man someday. Leaders who form leaders.
Disciples who make disciples.Mentoring is the vehicle. Imago Dei is the destination. I work with husbands, fathers, pastors, business owners, and young men who are determined to reflect the image of God in how they live, how they serve, how they love, and how they lead. The world doesn’t want men like this. It wants you tame. It wants you silent. It wants you hidden. God wants you seen. God wants you bold. God wants you ready. Ready to step forward in strength, humility, and truth. Ready to lead your family, your church, your workplace, your circle of influence with wisdom and conviction. Ready to live a life that brings glory to God, not comfort to yourself. As it says in Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Discipleship Course

This nine-part discipleship course equips Christian men with the foundations of the faith so they can confidently disciple others.Grounded in Scripture and practical application, the course prepares men to live and lead with clarity and conviction.

Workshops

Sword from Stone is a workshop series that brings biblical mentoring into a large-group setting.Through guided reflection, Scripture, prayer, and intentional discussion, men are given space to hear from God, respond in faith, and take decisive steps forward.

When I came to Christ, I was all over the place. I still had an old worldview. I had heaps of baggage. I had questions I couldn't put into words and guilt I didn't know what to do with. I knew I'd been forgiven, but I had no idea how to start living like it.Then my pastor did something simple. He set me up with a mentor. Week after week we sat across a table, Bibles open, coffee going cold, and worked through nine foundations of the faith. At the end of it, I went down into the water and came up baptized.Quite the journey. I built this workbook from that experience so you can take it too.Sons For Glory: Discipleship One on One recreates that table. It's built for a mentor and a disciple, or several pairs walking it side by side. Each week brings:

This side of heaven, the world will push back on everything you believe. Jesus prepared his followers for that by walking with them, then sending them to make disciples of their own.
